Literally everybody knows about this product. There is a huge hype around it and I understand why. Jaclyn Hill is my absolutely favorite beauty guru. She is so hilarious and beautiful. She is real and very sweet. So I was very excited to hear about her collaboration with Becca. Besides, I was really interested in Becca for a while and have almost bought some of her products. As you know, I live in Japan and international shipping isn't cheap, so I just didn't have much motivation to buy it. But the very second I heard about this new highlight, I immediately decided to buy it. The process was the whole story though, which I mentioned in "My very first order from Sephora.com" post.
The packaging is the same as all Becca's Skin Perfectors. It has a metallic lid and rubber around it. It's not big and not small, it's the perfect size. But the rubber part gets dirty really fast. And I wouldn't recommend to travel with Becca's Skin Perfectors, as it have a very soft and gentle formula, once you drop it, it's ruined. There will be tears and drama and nobody wants drama, so keep it safe in your vanity.
The product itself is very creamy and soft. It blends very nicely and have an amazing "in your face" sheen to it. There are no chunks of glitter though. I really like the formula of this product. So smooth and pigmented! Just perfect! But you should be very light handed, as it tends to accentuate pores or dry areas, when you use too much of the product.
Champagne Pop is a gorgeous gold highlight with peachy undertones. At first I doubted whether it would suit my very fair skin tone. But in her video Jaclyn said that it supposed to suit even very fair people. She said that it looked perfect on her sister, and she is quite pale. So I was like: Yesss! It's really hard to find perfect highlighter for me. Fair people will understand my pain. And Champagne Pop is just perfect amount of golden and peach. It blends so nicely, leaving your skin glowing. And as it's strobing trend now and everybody is glowing, this will be a perfect product right now, don't you think? There is no doubt that Champagne Pop is in my top five highlighters.
